From Civil War and Military Art, to Nature and Animals, to Sailing, to Trains and Railroading, to Native Americans, I have been painting realistic historical and contemporary scenes for over thirty years. My art flows from my passion for history and the people that have struggled and worked to realize the progress of modern civilization. I have invested untold hours and dedicated effort into creating paintings that carry the viewer into a world of fresh insight and experience of historical events, people and places.

As a veteran artist with over thirty years of professional experience, my art has impressed and delighted countless thousands of collectors. As a Civil War artist who was brought to national prominence in the 1990s by the publishing house of Somerset Fine Arts of Houston, Texas, my paintings have satisfied both the historically astute and artistically refined collector. Since 2010 I have been humbled and honored to have my original paintings represented by Settlers West Gallery of Tucson, Arizona, and since 2018, I have been likewise humbled and honored to have my original paintings represented by Trailside Gallery of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I have been commissioned to execute original artwork for the collections of the US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and the Command General Staff College in Leavenworth, Kansas. My original paintings also reside in the Booth Museum of Western Art, Cartersville, Georgia; the Delaware State Museum in Dover; the Silver Companies, Boca Raton, Florida; and the Philadelphia Convention Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am also proudly represented in the countless collections of devoted connoisseurs of my limited edition prints and original paintings.
